Along with writing, I’m also kind of obsessed with philanthropy. In addition to my regular Philanthropy Friday series and Giving Pledge, I’m a proud member of the Global Team of 200, a highly specialized group of Mom Bloggers for Social Good members who focus on maternal health, children, hunger, and women and girls.
Writing & Consulting Work
My biggest client in the another jennifer writing lab is also my former employer, Crossroads. I’ve been working with them since 2006. I lead a regular marketing / development meeting for them, manage their brand, write their blog, publish their email newsletter, manage their Facebook page, among other things. Check out the links. They’re a pretty great nonprofit organization.
I’ve worked pretty extensively in the mental health and substance abuse treatment fields in the marketing communications realm since 2004. I’ve been invited to speak on the topic of using social media in the behavioral healthcare field at the New England School of Best Practices in Addiction Treatment in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire and the OPEN MINDS 2011 Institute for Behavioral Health Informatics in Baltimore, Maryland. I also spoke at the 2012 New England School of Addiction Studies and Prevention Studies at Bowdoin College.
I am also a regular marketing analyst and writer for Words @ Work, the content specialists in Maine. We’re a pretty awesome team.
I love to write for my clients. I also love to advise them on how to create their own content and manage it in a way that works for their busy schedules. I particularly like teaching. Here are a few testimonials from another jennifer writing lab clients.
