Biz, age 5, was rewarded with a stuffed bunny for volunteering with me at the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program last week. He brought home a couple of boxes and made this cage with some help from his big brother, G. It even includes water and a plate of pasta salad.
Gearing up for Easter? Hopefully your Easter egg coloring goes better than my experience last year.

Abso-freakin-lutely ADORABLE!! And so much creativity! The Easter egg frenzy is heating up in our house. My girls are so excited for their parties at daycare tomorrow.
Biz is insanely creative. He just whips things like this up. He’s always stealing everyone’s recycling! Good luck with the egg coloring. My experience last year was terrible!
So very cute!! Love that this was his reward and that this was how he took care of his bunny 🙂
Me too, Janine. Didn’t cost a thing and he was happy as heck!
What a cute idea!!!
Thanks, Jodi. It was all my son’s idea!
Um yes, I remember those eggs! that was hysterical. I pinned it! LOL. Love this bunny cage. It is the cutest thing ever!
I still have nightmares about those eggs!
That is so cute 🙂 I always wanted a bunny when I was younger but my mother said they poop too much and they are a lot of work yet, we had a dog. Lol. 🙂 Happy Hump Day Jennifer! -Iva
Ha! Not sure how bunnies and dogs compare in that area. At least you had a dog!
ha! So cute. I remember when Scarlet used to carry around a stuffed mouse in a Melissa and Doug wooden cube and she called it “Buddy the Hamster in his cage.”
That is hilarious! Kids are very specific.
That is adorable! We had a bunny growing up…he lived in the house and used the cat litter just like the cats!
That’s funny, Michelle. Never heard of that. Smart bunny!
SO adorable!!! I just love it when kids are so creative! Michelle- that is so funny about you having a bunny and it using the litter box with the cats! LOL
They are both very creative. I’m a proud mama!
This is so cute!
Thanks!
This is so creative! Love it and love that your children are helping not just with cleaning but with your charity as well =) Always a joy to see your #WW photo.
Thanks, Merlinda. He’s a great little guy. 🙂
Biz is so talented! I can see him running his own creative business one day.
Well, he does already run his own store in our house. One of these days I’ll have to start his own Etsy shop. He’s got a pile of art to sell!
I love this so, so much. The fact that he even thought to put out food (and PASTA at that..a boy after my own heart) is just so impressive! He is creative!!! –Lisa
We’re big pasta fans in this family, Lisa!
Very cute!!
Thanks, Amber!
My kids love doing that kind of thing!! Then they freak out when I throw stuff away, but I don’t have room to store all of their creations. That’s why I take pictures!!
I need an extra wing of the house for all of Biz’s creations. We can’t go anywhere without taking people’s recycling! But I can’t really say no because he’s creative like me. We just see stuff and think of cool thinks we can create!
A ese conejito no le va a faltar de nada
