Wordless Wednesday (sort of): Down That Road Knocking Over Trees

jennifer · October 7, 2015 ·

I have a lot I’d like to write at the moment, but can’t for various reasons. Life is just too full right now. When that happens, I tend to write haiku.
So today my “Wordless Wednesday” image is of a poem I wrote for a few women whom I think about daily. I hope I can be a lamppost in their lives, lighting their path up a bit when it gets dark.
I know I am thankful for the lampposts in my life who continue to light my way even after the path has cleared.
Even a cleared path gets mucked up by a passing storm here and there.

Wordless Wednesday (10.7.15): haiku
Wordless Wednesday (10.7.15): down that road haiku

Oh, and I had to share this (below) from my Facebook feed. One might say it is related to the haiku. Or not. Up to interpretation.

As per usual, bonus points if you leave a comment in the form of a haiku.

Do you have a lamppost in your life? Can you knock a tree over with your strongness?
