Looked like tons of fun. Your dog is gorgeous by the way and we are bracing ourselves for more snow here in NY tomorrow now. As pretty as it is, I am being honest when I say I am truly looking forward to spring now.

We’re getting ready for the snow too. The problem where we are is that we never know how much to expect. We’re always on the line that could go either way – tons of snow or just a small amount mixed with rain. I’m thinking we’ll get hit pretty good though. We’ve only had the one snow day so far, so we’re still doing okay with school days!

Thanks, Alexa! Biz was resting at the time and my husband was working. Only their adorable-ness was missing. ๐Ÿ™‚

Aw. Thanks, Katie! Truth be told, I only took the pic because I wondered how much snow I had on me. I had been shoveling with my son for a while in the snow and I felt pretty wet!

It looks like a great snow day? Are you ready for round 6? We’re supposed to be getting hit here again tonight…I assume you guys will be getting a storm too. I have no idea how many storms we have had now but it’s been a lot!

Believe it or not, these photos represent our one and only snow day so far! Of course, that will probably change tomorrow. Or maybe Friday. It’s up in the air right now. Some schools are closing early because the snow’s not supposed to come until the afternoon. I don’t know. We always have a lot of storms. I don’t think it seems like more than usual for us. I guess I’m used to it!

They’ve already closed schools and daycare here, and there isn’t a flake to be found. We’re supposed to get it later today, though. I hope I can survive til then. My girls are driving me nuts, and it’s only 8:40!!

Thanks, Nicole! It’s a great hat. I bought it in San Francisco a couple years back. It keeps me warm during the cold Maine winters!
I hope your day went well. I hate it when school is canceled before the snow starts. We’re up in the air for tomorrow. I think they might dismiss early. We’ll see. Daycare will still be open. It’s just a matter of deciding whether I want to go out or not!

Are you getting this big storm tomorrow? Looks vicious! 10-16 inches! Well there are thaw days in our future.
I had forgotten the glory of snow dogs in the snow. I told Cassidy I want a Samoyed like I had growing up.

We are. Of course, every time I hear about it, the expected amounts change. Last I heard it could be about 11″ or it could just turn into rain. That’s the problem with where I live. We’re sort of coastal and sort of inland at the same time. Kailua is definitely hoping for lots of snow. We still have a ton on the ground, but his personal pile on the deck is starting to fade away from his warm body laying on it all day!

It is snowing here right now. They are predicting 10 inches which is a lot for central NC!! Hopefully, I’ll have some pics like these to post tomorrow!

As I said in an earlier comment, this was our first and only snow day so far. Very rare! Though that may change tomorrow or Friday. We’ll see. Good luck with all that snow. It’s no big deal for us, but I know NC isn’t as equipped as us here in Maine!

The best part is that now they can actually shovel and be helpful in clearing the driveway. I still have to remind Biz that we throw the snow in the yard and not the middle of the driveway, but they can be pretty productive! G, as you can see in the picture, knows what he’s doing!

Frances dropped the ruler and had to dig around to find it. I think it’s safe to say it’s well over a foot…and still snowing!! I don’t have many pictures because I keep sliding with my slippers and I refuse to put boots on today! ๐Ÿ™‚

This is actually from last week’s snow, so everything we’re getting now is on top of this. It’s only been snowing since 11:30 or so for us. Not sure how much we’ll get this time around. Today is only the second snow day of the year so far. I’m just hoping it’s all snow!

It actually wasn’t too cold…especially when shoveling! Huskies are the best, aren’t they?
