Today’s Wordless Wednesday photos were taken by my friend and travel companion in Nicaragua, Caitlin Kelly of the Broadside blog. Caitlin’s travels recently brought her to Paris where she had the unique opportunity to attend the unity march, an anti-terror rally that came on the heels of the Charlie Hebdo attack. To read more about the rally and Caitlin’s experience, read her post “Follow the pencil!”…today’s historic Paris unity march.

Wow those are some photos and heading over to check out story behind them now, too!
What an experience! I am looking forward to reading about her experience.
Wow what an amazing thing to be a part of!
This is very cool. Sad that the march needed to happen in the first place, but very cool Cathy was there to photograph it and write about it. I lived in Paris and I love seeing pictures from there.
Incredible photos. It’s such an intimate view point of something that seemed to be covered “from a distance”
What an amazing experience it must be for her! Wonderful photos – such a sad occurrence going on over there but hopefully, they can stand united and move forward towards a better place as a country. Have a great one Jennifer and thanks for sharing! -Iva
WOW. Very cool that she got to experience this… such bittersweet emotions about it. 🙁
What a great way to experience the culture. Would love to visit Paris sometime, never been to Europe yet.
Such a compelling photos. Such a terrible story. Definitely interested in seeing more.
What a cool opportunity to be able to see that march in person!
