So pretty! What do they grow there?
Ilene recently posted..Learning to Fly
There were lots of “you pick” berries and grapes, and they raise various livestock, some that are endangered (like the sheep pictured). They also sell wool from the sheep. Very cool place to visit. Glad we found it!

Really beautiful! Feeling a bit sad that my scheduled Maine trip turned into a New Hampshire trip instead. It was fun but with the heat wave and two cranky kids, we didn’t feel up to more than two hours in the car. I’m still thinking August..or next year.

Oh, darn. Well, it was pretty hot to be traveling in the car. Hopefully you’ll get up here soon!

Thanks, Leah. We were on a path in the middle of all that grass. I had to take a pic!
Everything looks so beautiful and green! Great shots Jennifer. Maine is certainly beautiful this time of year.

It most definitely is, Jen. After several days of 90+ degree weather, this day was in the 70s. Perfect!
Oh, I love that first photo of the grass, especially. It makes my heart ache to be out in an open field…

It was so much fun. My boys were trying to run in that grass, but they had trouble because it was so thick. ๐
Oh, how jealous I am of the garden! Beautiful photos!

The garden was neat because you could help yourself to the berries or even dig up some of the perennials. I’ve never seen anything like it!
oh those are beautiful!! I am enjoying the countryside myself this week! and lovely cool weather!
It’s nice that it has cooled down. The day we went to the farm was in the 70s. So much better than the heat wave we had just days before! Hope you are enjoying your trip, Alexa!
looks like a good restive walkabout. I miss having a donkey around.

It was a great day. My youngest son loved the donkey. It was much more his size vs. the horse.

I love going to our CSA and picking our veggies! I feel so spoiled having it there for me all summer long! And in the fall we have a great place to pick apples! There is nothing like fresh picked apples right off the tree!
Michelle recently posted..It’s a Big Dog Party
Love going apple picking in the fall. That and pumpkin picking. Fall in New England is the best!
And we have some great CSAs here as well.
