We live in a great New England town. We’re lucky to live one block from Maine Street so we can walk everywhere.

Yes! There’s a great 4th of July parade in the next town over. They even have a parade on the water with boats. Start planning!

My boys always look forward to the Memorial Day parade. It’s usually the unofficial kickoff to summer. It was much cooler this year, but the sun came out for the first time in many days. It was great!

The sun hadn’t been out for days. We are so lucky it made an appearance! Unfortunately, the rain is back today. But I don’t think it will last.

Oh, that looks like such a quaint town – one I’d love to center a story around! My son would like the truck!

It would make a great backdrop for a story. Lots of history here!

And, yes, the trucks are always a hit. 🙂

Love parades! We are quite close to the downtown area where I live and many times the parade will go right by our house. Makes it so easy to see 🙂

We live a block away from this picture, so it’s nice and easy for us too. No need to find parking or deal with traffic when it’s done!

We have a great Memorial Day parade. It’s a former military town (our naval air station recently closed), so it’s a big day!
