Is this the neighbor that you snapped snow blowing? LOL, just kidding ๐Ÿ™‚
Awesome picture! Do you guys still have a lot of snow on the ground?

This is my son at the top of a huge snow pile in a parking lot behind the local fire department. It’s around the corner from our house. The houses behind him are 3 stories. We got about 26″ during the storm. Some melted yesterday, but there’s still several inches on the ground.

    The sunlight is perfect!
We got only about 18 inches, and some of our snow banks are threateningly tall. I can’t imagine what they would look like if we had received your 26″. Wow!

Thanks, Rabia. I was kind of nervous when he was climbing the snow mountain, since I couldn’t get to him once he was up there (snow pants were needed) and it was so tall. But he had a ball!

I love this! At first, it looks like he’s scaled some huge mountain until…you see the top of the house! You all must have gotten a lot of snow! Wonderful image and great processing! Tweeted this and will feature you on Sunday. ๐Ÿ˜€

Thanks, Cyndi! We got about 26″ of snow. The condo you see behind my son is three stories. It was a very tall mountain of snow!

That is one perfect picture, the sun, the snow, your son ….just great!
Not to mention the kid in me can just imagine all the fun that mountain of snow will provide for days to come!

The only problem is that it’s in the middle of a public parking lot. The boys wanted to sled there, but they would land in parking spots! I got them over there the day after the blizzard to play in it a bit before the big trucks came to haul the excess snow away. It was fun while it lasted!

Thanks, Ilene. It’s been warm here the past couple days, so we’ve had some melting. Gotta take advantage of the mountains when you have them!

Great shot! We have some similar snow mountains here as well – right next door, in fact where our excivator neighbor has transported snow from the local Salvation Army parking lot (not entirely sure why…). I’ll have to get my kids up on those and see if they look as impressive!

It was fun to see the boys climb it. They kept sliding down because the snow was so fluffy. Poor Biz lost his boot on the top and had to walk home with snowy feet.

The best part about a blizzard is walking around town and playing in all the snow the day after…before they have the chance to get all the excess stuff.
