Glazed is a new pottery painting studio in my town. I painted the envelope holder, while Biz painted the robot bank.

I haven’t done any pottery since I was a classroom teacher. It was so much fun. Enjoy!
Here’s my Wordless Wednesday!
We had a blast, Deb!
Very cute and reminded me of a place I used to go to myself as a kid where you could paint or design different pottery pieces. Tons of great memories brought back on that and thanks again for sharing 🙂
We used to have a pottery painting place a few years back but it closed. This new one is great. It was Biz’s first time painting pottery. He loved it!
pretty sure we could have figured out which piece was the work of a young boy, not by the quality but the subject matter!!
Ha! Good point, Patti. 🙂
Fun!!
It was a lot of fun, Beth!
That must have been so much fun. 😉 beautiful!
It was. Thanks, Kristine!
That looks awesome! Love it and go, Biz, go!
He had a ball, of course. Painting a robot. What could be more fun?
Love it! Those are super cool…they have a place like that here, and my girls have so much fun! :)-Ashley
I think painting pottery is fun for everyone. They have a section where you can do mosaics too. I want to go back for that!
How fun! I’ve never done one of those before but now I feel inspired. I think my Little Diva would love that.
🙂
Traci
I’m sure she would, Traci. There were lots of pottery pieces to choose from to paint. Lots of fun!
Biz is such a budding artist! Not surprising.
I would love to do this with Scarlet.
I have no doubt that Scarlet would love a place like this. There are lots of fun things to paint!
p.s. I’m thoroughly impressed that you are keeping up with blog reading and commenting while in Orlando!

Thanks for stopping by, Raquel!
Fun!!
A lot of fun, Jessica! 🙂
We haven’t done this is so long! Love both projects!!
Thanks, Michelle. It had been a while for me too. So much fun!
Haha how cute those are! For a second I saw Spongebob Squarepants – I’m not sure what that says about me but I’m going to ignore it. 🙂 Happy Hump Day Jennifer! -Iva
No Spongebob Squarepants here! Just a robot that eats coins. 🙂 Hope you had a great day!
This just made me realize how much I miss making pottery. I got into it when I was a teenager and then just randomly stopped. I need to look up how much classes are and make some pottery pronto!
You totally need to, Ashlee! I bet it would be therapeutic.
This looks like a great way to spend a morning/afternoon with little ones. I bet my 4 y/o would love this!
It’s a great way to spend a couple of hours. We painted while G was at a birthday party. Nice bonding time!
Cool! We have a place like that downtown, but I’ve never taken my kids. I should, though. They’d love it!
You definitely should, Rabia. It’s fun for everyone!
I LOVE the robot bank! LOVE!
And it eats coins! That’s Biz’s favorite feature. 🙂
Funny that you posted this today – my daughter just said to me this morning that she wanted to paint some pottery. I can’t tell you how many mugs and bowls we have in our kitchen!
We haven’t had one in town for a few years, so I’m not overloaded yet. I’m sure that day will come!
Imaginación al poder.. Buen MM.Un saludo.Helen.

Thanks, Helen. We had fun being creative!
Very COOL!!! Sorry I’m late! Geesh. JUST saw this in my inbox while I was deleting about four hundred things I will have to let go of…
All the time- always letting go. Ugh.
But NOT YOU!!!! 🙂
Thanks, Chris. 🙂 I understand if you have to skip a post here and there. It’s hard to keep up sometimes!
I need to see if there is a place like that around here!!
So much fun, Kate. Great with kids or for just a girls night out!
Wow Jennifer both of you did great jobs.
Thanks, Jen! 🙂
Those turned out great!
Thanks, Rosey! 🙂
