I don’t think they do, but I could be wrong. I like taking photos of ferris wheels, but I don’t like riding them!

We have a new wheel in Melbourne which is also beautifully lit at night, it is such a good idea, you have a great shot here!

Me too, Meg. I don’t always go on the rides, but it’s fun to listen to all the carnival noises and eat the yummy food!

You always take the best photos, Jennifer. I used to love ferris wheels as a kid. This brings me back….
    Happy WW, dear one.

Thanks, Cathy. I shot this one with my phone as we were leaving. The carnival was set up in a church parking lot around the corner from our house!

I have lots of carnival memories too. The funny thing is that it’s probably the same traveling carnival that’s been around since I was little!

I love ferris wheels – I’m a little hesitant depending on the construction and what it’s sitting on but if its sturdy and into the ground; we’re good and I’ll ride on it. Otherwise, if its the unreliable ones that sits on top of trucks, I’m going to have a panic attack – esp if there’s squeaky noises while it moves. Great photo Jennifer and have a happy hump day -Iva

This one’s gone now, but I’m sure it’s moved to a different fair in Maine. It’ll definitely be in my area for 4th of July. Love all the fairs and festivals this time of year!

Oh no! I’m afraid of heights, especially if there’s nothing enclosing me (like in an airplane). I skipped this ride and just took the pic!
