Gish, I love baseball! What field is this?
Ilene recently posted..If Only
Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine. Home of the Portland Sea Dogs! (Sadly, they lost pretty big that night. But we still had fun!)

What a fun way to spend the evening! Where were you?

Portland, Maine at Hadlock Field watching the Portland Sea Dogs. We were lucky enough to go one evening without kids. ๐

Live an evening at the game, a beer, a dog..
Caite recently posted..Wordless Wednesday…Water and Waterlilies
Exactly! And we didn’t have kids that evening. Even more relaxing!

Looks like so much fun! We are headed to the local Minor League field for Father’s Day! :)-Ashley

Fun! The Portland Sea Dogs let the kids on the field to run the bases on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. It’s really cool.

love baseball. there’s something so American and so summer time about it! I was so bummed my gamecocks lost yesterday… No threepeat for us, but we knew we couldn’t win it every year! ๐
We’re not really baseball fans, but going to a game is always fun. Sorry about your Gamecocks!

Summer at its finest! Where was this and most importantly, did your team win? Most, most importantly, what did you eat there?
Tamara recently posted..The Next Time I See You.
Nope. They lost big time actually. We had pulled chicken sandwiches, Sea Dogs biscuits (chocolate chip cookies with ice cream in the middle) and beer from a local microbrew. Best part is that we only had to pay for the beer! ๐

Haven’t been to a game since we moved out of Toronto. I remember they sure were fun though. Happy WW!

I’m not a big baseball fan, but I enjoy going to games. It’s just a fun summer activity!
anotherjennifer recently posted..Philanthropy Friday: A Pearl of Fair Trade
Baseball is so incredibly boring on tv. I much prefer to sit in the stands and watch it.
Chelle @ Oh Just Stop Already recently posted..Wordless Wednesday: Oregon June Summers
I agree, Chelle. Even when I’m in the stands, I’m not really watching. I like to socialize and enjoy the ball park food!

Love the photo, Jennifer. Play ball! It’s so American (mostly) and so summer. Gotta love it.

It is! I’m not even a fan of baseball, but summers in the ball park are always fun!
Hurrah for baseball season!
And Sea Dogs biscuits! (what our baseball park serves – chocolate chips cookies with ice cream in the middle!)
{Melinda} Love this! We are such huge baseball fans. We live near the Tampa Bay Rays and go often! ๐

That sounds like fun, Melinda! Baseball games are awesome.
So jealous you have outfield bleachers at your ball yard!
One week from today, I’ll take a half day at work, print out a scoring card, and take in some minor-league baseball under the sun. God bless America.
And my Rockies are five games over .500. God is good.

It’s designed to be like a little Fenway. It’s a pretty cool stadium. To the right of us was a giant blow up LL Bean boot. It was a good evening, even though our team got killed.
Love this picture and it really makes me want to run out to a ball game….well almost. Really I finally got my computer back again from the laptop hospital so I’ve got some blogging to catch up with ๐

So happy to see you back, Jen. I hope your laptop is fixed this time!
I usually only get to go with the church but it’s always a fun time when I do make it to a game. Very good photo!
Joi @ Rx Fitness Lady recently posted..Proven Productivity Strategies for Bloggers on Facebook
Thanks, Joi. We’re lucky because we know a few people who give us free tickets. We’ve even had the chance to sit in the box seats a few times. Fun!

CLASSIC ballgame photo!! It reminds me of so many summer days and nights at Wrigley in Chicago… ๐
Chris Carter recently posted..Old School Blog! (Take two…)
Sounds fun. I’d love to see a game at Wrigley. Fenway, of course, is my favorite. ๐
Oh fun! We just went to a ball game last week. The children thought their Dad was so cool when he bought a bag of shelled peanuts for them to break into at the game. Love the simple pleasures!
QueenMomJen recently posted..Teaching A Princess Her Shapes
Ha! Shelled peanuts always taste better at a baseball game.
I’m overdue for a trip to the ball park. I love the fresh peanuts.
