Our BabbaBox Moon Nightlight

December 11, 2012 By anotherjennifer 7 Comments

I am a creative person, and I love doing art projects with my kids. It gives me an excuse to let out my artistic side when I don’t have the time to otherwise. (I should probably work on that.)

The problem is that while I have the space to do projects, I don’t always have the time or patience to plan for them.

Enter the BabbaBox.

What’s a BabbaBox, you ask? It’s a theme-based box packed with activities for kids. Take a look at what was in the sun, moon and stars themed box I received.

sun moon stars BabbaBox

It was like an early Christmas present when we opened this box. It included a really cute book, materials for two projects – including a moon nightlight and a constellation of stars – and a fill-in lunar calendar complete with binoculars. It even included a special gift for the adult supervising the projects, a very cool star-shaped wine topper.

The moon nightlight project involved paper mache. Biz loved tearing the paper, while G was our expert gluer.

Biz and G immediately inspected our entire house (and me) with the binoculars. It was actually kind of hard to contain their excitement with all the stuff in the box. We then decided we all really wanted to make the moon nightlight first. It was a really cool paper mache art project that was easy for both kids to get involved with. Of course, after the paper tearing was complete, Biz opted to play with the extra balloon and light while G and I glued. This was probably a good thing.

While it took a few days to complete, I really loved the fact that absolutely everything we needed to complete the project was included in the box. Everything.

Check out the final product. We’re all fighting over  debating where to put it now since it would be cool in all of our rooms. (Yes. Even mine!)

Our moon nightlight. The light even flickers for a very cool effect.

BabbaBox is a theme-based box delivered to your door that allows you to enjoy a little convenience and inspiration! As any parent can attest, the most important thing you can give to your child is quality time. BabbaBox makes this possible by helping you to save time, money, & mindspace.

Just think! Fantastic monthly activities with ALL the materials for kids ages 3-6. Included in the box are 3 projects + 1 bestselling book + digital download + parent surprise gift!

The best part? Babbabox makes a GREAT unique gift during the holiday season.

Do they have boxes or memberships for ages older than 3-6? I would love something like that for my 7-10 year olds! What an awesome fun idea! 🙂
