I was going to post a haiku today, as I usually do on Wednesdays, but I realized that my latest post on World Moms Network (formerly World Moms Blog) went live yesterday. I wrote it while still in a haze after a most amazing weekend with 45 other women. (See last week’s haiku regarding the exhaustion it caused.)
The post was delayed a week, so I’ve had time to recover and let it all sink in. The event, Strong is Beautiful, is hard to explain because it is so much more than a women’s health and wellness retreat. But now that I read it once again, this post really does encapsulate the weekend for me.
We all need a place to go when we need to recharge and reconnect with ourselves. A place where we can find and be our true authentic self. Mine happens to be in a wooded setting overlooking a river in central Maine.
I hope you will go on over to World Moms Network to read about it and the importance of recharging and reconnecting with yourself.
