On ONE.org: Creatively Using the Power of Community for Advocacy on #WorldWaterDay

one girls and women blogOn Friday, I had the honor of having a post published on the ONE blog. ONE, cofounded by Bono, is an international campaigning and advocacy organization of more than 6 million people taking action to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa. I wrote about how I used the power of a community I already belong to in order to advocate for clean water and sanitation on World Water Day. I shared a photo and video last Wednesday from this event. Today, I’m asking you to visit ONE and read about our very special World Water Day Primal Fitness.

    It’s so cool to read about how you used a fitness class to drive awareness for World Water Day! I think it is definitely a really creative way to not only let people know about a great cause, but to help them understand it better from the perspective of people who live in a world without easy access to water.
    On a separate note, I am really excited about your book this fall and I will be buying it as soon as it’s out! I hope I can get my copy signed 🙂
