Wordless Wednesday (sort of): Fill in the Blanks + A Haiku

jennifer · August 12, 2015 · 4 Comments

One year ago today my divorce was finalized on what would have been my fourteen year wedding anniversary.
One year ago today I published this post about being split. (And I have yet to respond to the amazing comments.)
I recently received an email from HuffPost Divorce that asked me to fill in the blanks: I lost ___________ in my divorce. But I gained ___________.
Good timing to reflect, I suppose.

Read how other women and men filled in the blanks on HuffPost Divorce. The answers are truly inspiring.

Oh, and I wrote a haiku to commemorate the day:

Anniversary

Day of my liberation

Beginning and end

    I can’t believe it’s been a year.
You still have one of the best perspectives on divorce I’ve EVER seen.
