Hump Day Haiku: Permission Slips

jennifer · May 25, 2016 · 4 Comments

I’m getting cramps in my hand from signing so many permission slips for field trips. It seems they are packing all the field trips into the last few weeks of school.

3 weeks left of school

More permission slips to sign

Is it summer yet?

As per usual, bonus points for a comment in the form of a haiku (5 – 7 – 5 syllables).

Right? I don’t remember this many field trips! I’m sure it’s fun for the teachers though. 🙂

I don’t think I’m ready for middle school dances. And, yet, my oldest is starting junior high in the fall. #herewego
