Breathless

September 22, 2015 By anotherjennifer 7 Comments

Three posts I scrolled through quickly right before I moved my phone to the charger and went to put my kids to bed.

Three posts from people I did not know one year ago.

Three posts from people I’ve hugged in the past two weeks.

An image, an article and a quote.

Breathless.

Sometimes you feel life so deeply it brings you to tears.

Stops you dead in your tracks.

You feel it in your bones, deep within your chest.

The storylines of life. The people who come and go. The reason for them all.

Moments of clarity in the midst of the overwhelming patterns of life.

The good, the bad and the very, very dark.

They sit with you when you need their presence.

They check in with you when things feel off.

They back off when they’ve gone too far.

They remind you of all that you have gained.

They show you that you are not alone.

And then you breathe again.

You’ve got this.

This is quite powerful. Those dark, dark places are interesting, aren’t they. While it’s awful to tread where you can’t see, and hard to move forward, you come out the other side changed, stronger and different than when you entered. Love this! And hi!

Oh wow… this experience sounds so profound. I could re-read it a few more times and still get more out of it. I understand the depth of such living, relating, friendships.

“Sometimes you feel life so deeply it brings you to tears.” I’ve been feeling a bit of this lately, but I’m not sure why.
Those people in your life, they are so important. I don’t know what I’d do without mine.
