Very cool and I know we didn’t have lights like that in our college dining hall back in the day! Happy Wednesday 🙂

We didn’t either. Cool, isn’t it? We were there for an event. Their dining hall is amazing!

Beautiful! My university dining hall definitely did not have lights like these.

Bowdoin is known for their exceptional dining services. I live nearby and know many people who just go there to eat. It’s that good!

That’s an unusual shot. Thank you.
Here’s my Wordless Wednesday!
I took it during a speech at an event. The lights just caught my eye!

Woo, that’s are some cool lights. I think I would have a hard time not staring at them!

Very pretty! It looks like it would definitely soften the light unlike most dining halls.

It’s a very different dining hall, Traci. So pretty. And with lighting that doesn’t blind you!

a bit of flair up there in the air.

That’s pretty awesome lights – do they rotate or are they fixed? Do the colors change? Very cool – Happy Hump Day Jennifer! -Iva

Awesome! I would have photographed them too. And was the food good? Sometimes I miss my college dining hall food. I eat at Dartmouth Dining Hall every summer, meeting friends. And I’m sure I’ll be eating dining hall food soon for BlogU!

The food was great. Bowdoin is known for it exceptional dining services. The dining hall is actually a popular venue for events in town!
So does that mean you signed up for BlogU?!
I have the money now but I haven’t pulled the trigger. Might you go??

I’m still unsure. It’s an option, but I’m not sure it’s the option I want. Trying to figure out what other trips I might take this year as well. Social Good Summit is definitely on my list in September. And my friend asked me about going to Vegas for the Be the Change event in April as well. It’s hard to plan ahead! But I do want a good blogging conference to attend where I’ll get to meet a lot of people too.
Pretty cool lights!

I thought so, Michelle. Not bad for a dining hall, right?
Amazing. That blue!
Kind of an odd choice for a dining hall, but it works!
anotherjennifer recently posted..Wordless Wednesday: Bowdoin College Dining Hall Lights
Those are so cool! What were you doing on campus?
Ilene recently posted..Saying Goodbye to the Skull Cap
We were actually at an event for our local chamber of commerce. Sounds weird to have a big event at a college dining hall, but it’s a beautiful space and they serve great food. Locals actually go there during the day and eat lunch! Bowdoin has a beautiful campus, and it’s walkable from my house. Pretty neat place.
Beautiful lights! 🙂
Happy Wordless Wednesday! My entry is here .

Meanwhile, while you gawked at the lights, I swiped two of your garlic Parmesan chicken wings.

Darn it. That’s where they went. I need to be more careful.
p.s. I requested the garlic Parmesan wings for my birthday over the weekend. Went well with all the football watching!
Those look very soft and relaxing. Our campus has good food, but the all-you-can-eat is expensive if you don’t have a dining plan, so I rarely eat there. There’s an a la carte place in my building that serve yummy sandwiches. I eat those more often.
