This post combines two things I love: the Boston Bruins and infographics.
As you know, the Boston Bruins won the illustrious Stanley Cup last week in Vancouver. As Canucks fans burned the city down, the Bruins racked up a bar tab of more than $150K celebrating. Pictures of the now famous receipt floated around Facebook, Twitter and other social media channels. Turns out, the tab was earned at Foxwoods Casino and, according to captain Zdeno Chara, “nowhere near what the actual price of the bill was.” “Reports” say that the biggest ticket item was a $100,000 bottle of rare champagne. Chara says the (empty?) bottle was going to be signed and given back to Foxwoods to be auctioned off.
Who cares. They won the Stanley Cup, and they should get to celebrate. If you’re wondering what the other $56,679.74 went to, SixteenWins.com provided us with the following handy infographic. Though champagne was certainly had, Bud Light was by far the most popular drink of the night.
