Blogging All the Time

January 7, 2012 By anotherjennifer 6 Comments

chatting and bloggingAfter blogging daily for 61 days, I find it hard not to blog.

Now I find I want to blog all the time. (Anyone else just start singing I just want to party blog all the time?)

Not only is everything that happens around me a potential blog post, but I’ve also started to want to write everything like a blog post.

At a half day business planning seminar, I so wanted to add commentary throughout my strategic plan. Things like, “that deadline date is completely arbitrary. Who are we kidding?” Or, “This is totally a question for my accountant husband.”

As I was writing a business-related email today, I wanted to go off on a tangent about an observation of the process I went through to answer a simple question. I held back, of course, but it would have been a funny email.

It kills me when I don’t blog now. I guess that’s a good thing. At the same time, I have to fight the urge to drop everything and just write. My kids, husband and clients probably wouldn’t appreciate that. Luckily, blogging daily at the busiest time of year taught me some pretty good tricks on time management and knowing when the best times are for me to blog.

Though I started blogging in 2007, I only now feel like I’ve got my blogging mojo. I think it’s because of the daily writing commitment, and the fact that I’m doing things on my own terms now.

Whatever it is. I’m enjoying it. Blogging for other businesses is even more fun now, and my clients can feed off my enthusiasm when I talk to them about how to approach blogging.

Need help blogging? Drop me a line.

I think the daily blogging thing definitely helps! I only did the month of November, but I write much more frequently now (even though I had a hiatus). Anyway, I enjoy reading your thoughts! 🙂

Thanks, Jenn. I enjoy reading yours as well! Of course, writing is only half the fun. By blogging more often, I have found some wonderful new blog to read as well!

Yep, I can definitely relate! I have to make an effort to stay away from my computer when I’m home, otherwise I’d spend too much time playing around with my blogs! Of course, I do cheat and write on my smart phone…
