Wordless Wednesday: Sights and Sounds from Nicaragua

jennifer · March 26, 2014 · 19 Comments

This week, I’m sharing some of the video I took from my iPhone in Nicaragua, where I traveled with WaterAid America and represented Mom Bloggers for Social Good. As you’ll hear, it was very windy (thank goodness since it was also very hot!) and the roads were very bumpy (be warned that there is some motion in this video). It may or may not end with a pig scratching its butt on the post of a house.
Watch the video and read more posts from my amazing trip.

Aw, the little dog in the beginning looks kinda like mine! There were some animals in there that I don’t even know what they were!
And it seems that the pig got his or her itch scratched!

So many animals were wandering around, Tamara. Many of them were quite skinny, though, which I didn’t like seeing. The pigs were very entertaining!

wow, if a picture says 1000 words, that video said about a billion! And it was so worth it to see that pig scratch his hiney! What a good catch! Seems like you got to enjoy a very quiet and peaceful ride down the river with Linda.

Totally lucked out with the pig. 🙂 The ride with Linda was great. Her taking us to see the crops was one of my favorite parts of the trip.

WOW. That was SOOO COOL!!! I have to admit, I kept thinking of your bacon when I saw those pigs and especially that cutie pie black one itchin’ away!!
I hope you do many more posts with all these incredible experiences you had…
On to the next!!! (loving them, and SO happy you are safe and sound and home now)

Ha! Funny, I didn’t have bacon the entire time I was there. The pigs are more pets than anything. I hung out with a lot of them!
