This week, I’m sharing some of the video I took from my iPhone in Nicaragua, where I traveled with WaterAid America and represented Mom Bloggers for Social Good. As you’ll hear, it was very windy (thank goodness since it was also very hot!) and the roads were very bumpy (be warned that there is some motion in this video). It may or may not end with a pig scratching its butt on the post of a house.
Watch the video and read more posts from my amazing trip.

I have just loved getting a mini tour with you here on this trip and the videos really were a perfect addition. Thank you so much for sharing and again so very proud of all the wonderful work you did here. Happy Wednesday and hugs!! 🙂
Thanks, Janine!
Love it, Jen! Now I have to go back and read up on your posts from your trip!
Thanks, Michelle. Enjoy!
Absolutely incredible video! I have loved following along thanks to Facebook, but this video just drives it all home. You rock, and I am so glad you got to go on this journey!-Ashley
It was an amazing journey, Ashley. Thanks for following along!
Aw, the little dog in the beginning looks kinda like mine! There were some animals in there that I don’t even know what they were!
And it seems that the pig got his or her itch scratched!
So many animals were wandering around, Tamara. Many of them were quite skinny, though, which I didn’t like seeing. The pigs were very entertaining!
wow, if a picture says 1000 words, that video said about a billion! And it was so worth it to see that pig scratch his hiney! What a good catch! Seems like you got to enjoy a very quiet and peaceful ride down the river with Linda.
Totally lucked out with the pig. 🙂 The ride with Linda was great. Her taking us to see the crops was one of my favorite parts of the trip.
That was fascinating!
Thanks, Kat! I was hoping to capture some of my experience there. So much to take in.
WOW. That was SOOO COOL!!! I have to admit, I kept thinking of your bacon when I saw those pigs and especially that cutie pie black one itchin’ away!!
I hope you do many more posts with all these incredible experiences you had…
On to the next!!! (loving them, and SO happy you are safe and sound and home now)
Ha! Funny, I didn’t have bacon the entire time I was there. The pigs are more pets than anything. I hung out with a lot of them!
I really like the part with the woman wielding the machete! Very impressive.
You know what’s more impressive? She’s 69! Not too shabby.
Cute pig and wonderful video! It was fun to see the sights and sounds of your trip!
Thanks, Michelle. I’m glad I remember to shoot some video while I was there!
