Some of the businesses I work with don't want to blog, so I often suggest working with bloggers as an alternative. But you have to approach bloggers the right way to get a response. This article gives some good advice.
Best Practices for Connecting With Bloggers
While you can gush mentions about your brand until you are blue in the face, you may cause awareness but lack the audience loyalty to cause notable action.

I say the top of your picture and thought, “Oh, just another foliage photo.” Then I scrolled down and saw the canoe – Beautiful!!!

Thanks, Sheryl. I loved the lone canoe when I saw it. Very LL Bean!

It is a nice blue, isn’t it?

Winters can be an experience. They can also be quite beautiful. We had a mild winter last year, so we’ll see what happens this year. I’m bracing myself!
I bet in a few weeks that very same picture will have even more color in the trees! Ours here in Ohio are turning fast and are looking so beautiful! The canoe does make the photo! Can you take another one just like it again next week? And the next? It would be fun to watch the color change!! Just a thought!!

There actually seemed to be more color than what the picture depicts. That’s a great idea to keep taking photos in the same spot. This was taken at an apple orchard that’s not super close to my house though. I’ll keep my eye out for some good foliage picks as the leaves peak!
