Thanks, Sarah! It’s quite spectacular. You have to go through various security checkpoints to get there, but once you are there, it’s quiet and peaceful. You almost forget about the city around you.

It is powerful. I was glad we were able to go as a family. I had a discussion with my 7 year old about what happened. It was nice to show him how we will always remember those who lost their lives on that day.

Thanks, Tania! I think Ground Zero will always take my breath away. There is still much to be done there, but the memorial is amazing.
As for a prompt, how about the opposite of Peaceful? Chaos! (I say this as my dogs wrestle by my feet.)

You’re welcome, Larissa. There’s still a lot to be completed, but it’s getting there. Once you get in the memorial area, it’s amazingly peaceful. Though there were many people walking around, everyone was quiet and respectful.
