Love this! One of my favorite parts of attending local historical events here is seeing the old newspapers and ads during that period of time.
Very cool and a great idea for a project.

I try to get a few crafty projects in here and there. For this one, I had the boys doing their own project while I worked on mine.
I’m not sure what that girl’s face is supposed to tell us about Bactine. It doesn’t necessarily sell it though. 🙂

Brilliant project! I love (and miss) doing crafty projects. I really should start back up, now that my oldest (possibly) has the attention span to join me.
I particularly like the expression on the child’s face in the Bactine ad… she’s either skeptical or annoyed. From this distance at least. 🙂

Love this! What a neat idea! I have a friend who showed me something she made earlier this week where she tore pages from an old hymnal of songs she loved and then decoupaged them to use as a background for some of the photos she had taken. She added color with some paint since her background was basically black and white. I like all the colors in the ads in yours!
